Occupations at risk of Hepatitis B

We offer an antibody immunity checking service for occupational health workers to comply with company and HSE Legislation or those interested in whether they have immunity for specific diseases.

Our usual checks include tests for 

  • Hepatitis B immunity

  • Measles

  • Mumps 

  • Rubella

  • Chickenpox ( Varicella Zoster)

  • TB

  • TB Scar verification service

 

but we can also check for other diseases:

  • Hepatitis C

  • HIV

  • Syphilis etc

  • Others on request

These blood tests are usually couriered to the lab and formal reports are issued with blood antibody levels and immunity status Perfect for employers and workers to ensure they are safe to work.

If immunity levels are suboptimal we can vaccinate individuals to ensure they are safe.

  • medical/dental equipment repair

  • mortuary work

  • embalming and crematorium work

  • first aid

  • needle exchange services

  • plumbing

  • sewage processing

  • social services

  • tattooing, ear and body piercing

  • vehicle recovery and repair
