Pilot Testing Check List

Need a FAA Pilot Medical Certificate quickly in a stress free process?

Choose your time- we work late nights and Saturdays for your convenience.

Please follow the process to get your Class1, Class 2 or Class 3 pilot medical certificate:

  • Log onto MedXpress and start your application

  • Book in for your medical - you have 60 days from the time of you online application for us to use your access code.

  • If you have a medical condition which the AME can issue (CACI) the bring in the relevant form completed by your treating doctor or call us and we can assist if sending you the forms- further information can be found here

  • Then come visit us for your medical assessment

  • Give yourself plenty of time to locate us, find parking and relax on our lovely leather Chesterfields

  • DO NOT forget to bring your last medical certificate if applicable and your ID.

  • Bring in your glasses if you wear contacts or glasses

  • Bring your passport to validate your ID

  • Turn up with a full bladder so we can do a urine check. ( We've got a water dispenser in case)

  • Request a Chaperone if you wish to have one during the clinical examination

  • **** From January 1st 2025 the FAA requires all initial applicants to have a computerised colour vision check. Please see the link.  We have tthe capacity to undertake this onsite with iPad. Please note that this additional check however is chargeable. see the price list and book the appropriate initial or renewal medical.

  • If you need an ECG, Do not use moisturiser and please shave your chest (if applicable) before hand

  • If you need an audiogram then please ensure there has been no loud noise exposure for 16 hours before the assessment.

  • The medical process is normally completed within 1 hr

  • Once complete leave with a smile and your pilots medical certificate!

Payment is accepted by Debit / Credit Cards. AMEX credit cards are not accepted

Revalidation time limits

 

Certificates can be revalidated up to 30 days before the expiry date of the current certificate keeping the existing expiry date as the start of the next validity period.

*Payment is required to secure the booking and to minimise no shows and late cancellations.
